Our kidding season is about over and our first group of kids are being weaned. Using our New Zealand bucks over our AKGA Kiko Genemaster and Boer does has produced some hardy, colorful kids. It was a heavy buckling year, but they are growing out nicely. Please contact us if you would like to be put on a waiting list!
Here at HB3 ranch we strive to breed for exceptional mothering skills, parasite resistance, minimal hoof issues, color, and a fast growth rate. Therefore, we have chosen to breed commercial dappled Boer, Kiko Genemasters, and ultimately the Texas Genemasters.
By breeding the Kiko to the Boer goat, the end result is a more hardy, parasite resistant, less hoof issues, more meat to bone ratio and a bit more friendly Goat. This is a long breeding plan, but we have been breeding the Genemasters since 2013. We are pleased with where our breeding program
We plan on growing our New Zealand Kiko herd to replace our Boer and Kiko Genemaster herd, but this will phase out over the next few years.

NZG = 1/2 Kiko and 1/2 Boer - Green Seal
GNY = 3/4 Kiko and 1/4 Boer - Red Seal
GNZ = 7/8 Kiko and 1/8 Boer - White Seal - Purebred Kiko
GNK = 5/8 Kiko and 3/8Boer - Purple Seal - Kiko Genemaster
TXG = 3/8 Kiko and 5/8 Boer - Gold Seal - Texas Genemaster
